	USA/Minnesota Team Crafts Award-Winning Snow Sculpture
		The Wolfram team's award-winning sculpture, entitled Rhapsody in White, was of a Mathematica-generated Enneper surface of degree two--a beautiful minimal surface with tremendous symmetry and aesthetic appeal.
		Although first place went to the Russian team for their soaring tribute to the new millennium, and third place went to the Swiss team for their intricately carved sphere, the USA/Minnesota team also won two out of the other three awards presented on Saturday.
		Team captain Stan Wagon was very pleased with the positive reception of the community to a mathematical sculpture.

		"This team is among the leading research programs in the world in DNA marker development for genes of interest in wheat improvement, especially host resistance to disease and insect pests," said William McFee, head of Purdue’s Department of Agronomy.
		Wheat developed from germ plasm created by the research team conservatively accounts for 50 percent to 60 percent of the wheat grown in Indiana and 25 percent of that grown in the Eastern Cornbelt and Kentucky, according to McFee.
		"The accomplishments of this team are an excellent example of the synergistic effect of interdepartmental and interdisciplinary efforts when the contributors are unselfish in their efforts and generous in sharing the credit," said McFee.

	Team Building Award goes to Siloam

	April 2005 - Ohio State Parks Team Award
		COLUMBUS, OH – The Walking Path Development Team of Lake Milton State Park in Mahoning County has received the “Team Of The Year Award” from Ohio State Parks for planning and constructing a 1.75-mile handicapped accessible recreational trail at the park.
		The development team was made up of park system employees, volunteers and members of the Lake Milton Association.
		With those funds, the team planned and built the trail that was dedicated in May 2003.
