Disney agreed, and assigned director John Hench to help Dalí turn the Mexican ballad "Destino," by Armando Dominguez, into a kind of prototypical music video.
Dalí spent his time at the Disney studio painting, drawing and discussing with Hench the challenges of adding motion to what he described as his "hand-colored photographs." The project continued for eight months, and was abandoned in 1947 when the Disney studio ran into financial problems.

It is just that tourists (or tourons, as Hiaasen calls them) may be offended by the incidental spurt of blood, or they are too impatient to be entertained to carefully watch animals perform their natural, sometimes boring activities.
In comparing Orlando’s Disney World to theater, I have often said that the theater respects its patrons more honestly than Disney in that the theater patron knows s/he is being deceived by the set, the actors, and the dialog.
Disney, on the other hand, does not tell its patrons what is real and what is not, especially with respect to nature.
