  The Atmosphere
Early attempts at studying the nature of the atmosphere used clues from the weather, the beautiful multi-colored sunsets and sunrises, and the twinkling of stars.
The atmosphere absorbs the energy from the Sun, recycles water and other chemicals, and works with the electrical and magnetic forces to provide a moderate climate.
The tropopause and the troposphere are known as the lower atmosphere.

Atmosphere and air pollution formed part of the thematic cluster of issues reviewed by the Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) fourteenth session in 2006.
Protection of the atmosphere is a broad and multidimensional endeavour involving various sectors of economic activity.
These are (1) improving the scientific basis for addressing uncertainties; (2) preventing stratospheric ozone depletion; (3) mitigating trans-boundary atmospheric pollution; and (4) promoting sustainable development with particular reference to (a) energy development, efficiency and consumption; (b) transportation; (c) industrial development; and (d) terrestrial and marine resource development and land use.

 L&L Special Furnace Co., Inc.
In electrically fired units the elements are exposed to the atmosphere (in most cases) and the element connection areas are sealed, gasketed with silicone rubber and purged.
The typical atmosphere used is an endothermic or synthetic endothermic gas (see the section on Endothermic gas and Nitrogen/Methanol.) To this is added a hydrocarbon such as methane, propane or butane to increase the carbon potential and air to decrease the carbon potential.
In addition to the base endothermic atmosphere and the hydrocarbon enrichment a small amount of ammonia is added to the atmosphere (typically 5% to 10%.) This dissociates into hydrogen and mononuclear nitrogen (N rather than N2) which is a more reactive form of nitrogen.

But even before martian atmosphere gas was discovered in the meteorites by Bogard and Johnson (1983), many scientists thought that the meteorites were from Mars because of their young crystallization ages and their complex chemical compositions.
The chemical make-up of Mars’ atmosphere was measured, on Mars, by the Viking lander spacecraft.
This martian atmosphere gas was first discovered in the Antarctic meteorite EETA79001 (Bogard and Johnson, 1983), and traces of it are present in almost all of the martian (SNC) meteorites.

How to get Started in Professional Writing
Technical communications—or technical writing, refers to knowledge that is not widespread, that is more the territory of experts and specialists.
The technical writing that takes place in the business world, ought to be sometimes neutral in terms of point of view, strictly expressing the object of the correspondence, or report.
This fear appears to be even more terrifying among technical writing students, because besides all the fear of exposing themselves in their writings, they sometimes do not have the maturity to produce professional papers.

 Life on Mars: Other Planetary
Carbon dioxide in the martian atmosphere gradually combined with rocks to form carbonates, and eventually all the carbon dioxide was removed from the air: a sort of inverse globalwarming.
Subsequently, atmospheres of carbon dioxide (CO2) and water vapor (H2O) were considered --- such gases are likely to have been vented from the mantle of the planet and produced by periodic cometary or asteroid impacts.
Without a thick atmosphere, Mars' surface could never have been warm enough to permit liquid water, and there is very good geologic evidence that liquid water was once abundant on the surface of Mars.

Atmosphere (unit) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Standard atmosphere is a non-SI unit that is internationally recognized.
This value is intended to represent the mean atmospheric pressure at mean sea level at the latitude of Paris, France, and as a practical matter, truly reflects the mean sea level pressure for many of the industrialized nations (those with latitudes similar to Paris).
The unit technical atmosphere (at) is roughly equal to the gauge pressure under 10 m of water; 1 at = 98066.5 Pa.

SPACE.com -- Scientists Recreate Miniature Model of Moon's Atmosphere
On the moon, sodium in the atmosphere is being continually replenished, although exactly how this is occurring is unknown.
The researchers bombarded their sample, which measures less than a square centimeter, with photons, electrons and ions to test the effects of light, heat, micrometeorite impacts and other processes that occur in space.
The experiment showed that some of the leading theories on how the sodium was getting into the atmosphere were wrong, including ionization from the solar wind, micrometeorite impacts and heating of the lunar surface by the sun.
