Ted Chudleigh is a politician in Ontario, Canada.
Chudleigh is the grandson of Thomas Laird Kennedy, who served as Premier of Ontario in 1949.
The Tories lost the provincial election of 2003, and Chudleigh was returned with a greatly reduced margin of victory.

Ted Chudleigh's condescending attitude, particulary towards teachers and other public sector workers may be enough to make the race close.
The economy and tax cuts are primary to this area, as is health care where long term beds have been expanded exponentially during the PC party's term in office.
Ted also truly considers the needs of all of his constituents, and how policy can improve their quality of life.

Ted Chudleigh, MPP Halton said the resignation of Ontario Finance Minister Greg Sorbara is a further blow to the credibility of a McGuinty Liberal government already running very short on credibility.
Chudleigh said it is notable that the proposed development is actually on property designated as Parkway West Belt, which was land set aside decades ago for future use as a utility, transportation and open space corridors.
Chudleigh added that if the health care estimate in the recent 2005 Ontario budget is a sham then the entire budget, and the Liberal fiscal plan to balance the budget, is also meaningless.

Perhaps the candidate is conceding the affluent North Burlington polls based on the impact of Liberal Tax hikes and their perception that an income of $60 K classifies one as rich.
Chudleigh has been a no show at many all candidates meetings - a fact that has been noted in local newspapers and he has been subjected to withering questioning on his and the Tory record where he has shown up.
Ted Chudleigh must rank in the top 2 of worst MPPs in Queen's Park (just behind Gary Stewart in Peterborough), but it will be very tough to kick him out because the riding of Halton is so conservative.

Mr Chudleigh: I would like to suggest that one of the first items of business this committee will be addressing will be the appointment of an Environmental Commissioner.
Mr Chudleigh: If that would happen on the first opportunity following the constituency week break, it would be helpful to the committee, I believe, if they had the written criteria prior to that meeting so they could review those criteria and be prepared to ask questions, so they know what the criteria would be.
Mr Chudleigh: Viktor, if you could ensure that the members of the committee get a copy of it, and maybe a copy could also go to the House leaders so they're aware of it as well.

Ted talked about how the Premier is getting a pretty good review of the Green Belt from the entire community except for the farmers.

Ted told us that the population of Milton alone is soon to be forty eight thousand.

On the basis of an interim plan tabled by Chudleigh in August, the government is spending $1.5 million this year to begin planning the four centres.
Chudleigh also announced $142,000 for eight projects, which will protect and enhance fish and wildlife and their habitats along the coast.
Chudleigh also released new promotional materials for the Great Lakes Heritage Coast, which are a 66-page, full-colour profile of the coast, a 17-minute video and a poster.

The crowd burst into applause when Chudleigh was honored with the plaque presented by Nate Leipciger on behalf of the Ontario region and the Holocaust Education and Memorial Centre of Toronto.
Later Harris said he agreed with the Congress position and a request from Leipciger that the next step is to follow the Holocaust legislation with a curriculum that extends such education into the schools.
On Chudleigh's bill, the premier said he presented an autographed copy of it to the director of Yad Vashem in Israel even before it was officially passed.

Additional information (3/5/97): Although the girl's counselors were not there at the beginning of the summer and arrived to counsel during the one week of girl's camp, many stayed a week or more afterward to join the guys in doing general camp clean-up and preparation for future development.

The new trains will be introduced September 3, 2002, under GO Transit's agreement with CPR, which operates Milton GO Train service.
