I was pretty disappointed during the WSOP main event that Ted was a non-person not worth of being named as a "remaining pro".
It looked like Ted didn't hear Doyle say it across the table while it was easy enough to hear on TV because Doyle had a mic.
So Ted was there when I turned it off one week, and gone when I watched the next episode a week later which was down to the final 6.

From the one time I saw him at the WPT championship from the first season he was absolutely fearless and could play weak hands like they were aces.
I used to watch him play freez out on the living room floor for a 10.00$ pot in the early eighties, he was fearless even then.
