TTG #20 featured Atlas trapping Starfire and Raven in a videogame and even included a "cameo" by Terra and others, while TTG #21 had Professor Chang turning Beast Boy into a Godzilla-like monster, complete with a good old fashioned rampaging through town and even a battle between BB and the Voltron-esque "Titans Go-Bot 5".
While the Teen Titans animated series adapted the story for Season 2, this new DTV is not related to the show in any way aside from the basic story.
