In Greek mythology, Telamon, son of Aeacus, King of Aegina, and Endeis and brother of Peleus, accompanied Jason as one his Argonauts, and was present at the hunt for the Calydonian Boar.
Telamon also figures into both versions of Heracles' sacking of Troy, which was ruled by King Laomedon or Tros in the alternate versions.
Telamon took Hesione as a war prize and married her, and she gave birth to Teucer by him.

Teucer 1 was the son of Telamon by Hesione 2, a Trojan princess who was captured by his father and Heracles 1 during their own expedition against Troy (years before the Trojan War).
Telamon was driven fugitive from Aegina by Aeacus because of the murder of Phocus 3, and fled to Salamis, where he became king.

Telamon went to Salamis, whence he probably had come, while Peleus fled to Phthia to the court of Eurytion 2, and was purified by him.
