		At the time of Telekon's original release in 1980, 22- year- old, self- styled space- case Gary Numan had already become a formidable creative force behind the insurgence of rock's New Wave.
		On Telekon, Numan is a master texturalist, skilled in creating synth parts that perfectly coalesce and swim melodically around each other; an interplay much like Television innovated in the mid-1970s using guitars.
		Nevertheless, the plastic beauty of Telekon should serve as an important historic reference for the wet- behind- the- ears technoid- rockers of today.

		Telekon was a big seller, and Gary Numan was bigger than ever (particularly in Britain), but once people found out how depressing this album was, they lost interest.

		This must have been around the time Telekon' was released.
		At first I didn't like it because it was a sad album and didn't have the upbeat musical style that I was accustomed to with 'The Pleasure Principle'.

		Sorry, but no Interviews or catchy quotes as was the norm on RADIO TELEKON, just music and a few ads.
		These shows all have different names but share the fact that they are produced by Tea Time Tapes, a special division of the TeleKon Coop.
		Then there are numerous other types of programmes that are produced such as all UK Garage, a mish-mash of anything, all Dance (Of any type), or retro themes, (New Wave, Hip House, Disco, 70's Pop).
