		Hackner rejoins Telepictures Productions from Universal Domestic Television, where she served as Executive Vice President for the past two years overseeing development and current programming.
		In her new post, Hackner will be responsible for overseeing all of Telepictures' new program development for syndication and cable as well as working with David Auerbach (Senior Vice President, Programming) on network series development.
		Prior to joining Universal, Hackner spent her entire career at Telepictures Productions, joining the company in 1990 as a receptionist and working her way up to Vice President, Development.

		In 1986, Lorimar merged with television syndication firm Telepictures, becoming Lorimar-Telepictures; later that year, they purchased the MGM lot from Ted Turner.
		Telepictures' distribution business was folded into Warner Bros. Television; since then, the Telepictures name has been resurrected as both a production company (circa 1990), and once again as a syndication company (1996, after the Turner merger).
		The former MGM studio lot was sold to Sony to house Columbia Pictures and Sony's other film operations.
