	Removing telluric lines
		The aim is to remove the large number of telluric lines that appear in IR spectra.
		First and foremost, the telluric standard and the object have to observed with the same instrument setup, with roughly the same airmass and, if possible, consecutively.
		For the best results, one may have to modify the spectrum of the telluric standard so that the center and strength of the telluric lines match those of the object spectrum.

	George Glazer Gallery - Joslin Solar Telluric Manual
		This device is comprised of a Joslin 6-inch globe in meridian ("day circle") revolving with arrow pointer on a pierced cast iron stand with paper calendar and zodiac, and having central brass ball representing the sun.
		This was a popular model for Joslin, produced in relatively large numbers in the second half of the 19th century.
