		Oktober 2007 können die Berliner Bürger mitentscheiden, ob der Flughafen Tempelhof weiterhin Flughafen bleiben soll – durch Abgabe ihrer Stimme beim ersten Volksbegehren Berlins nach Änderung der Verfassung.
		Der Flughafen Tempelhof ist durch Beschluss des Senats von der endgültigen Schließung bedroht.
		Innerhalb kurzer Zeit konnte die Interessengemeinschaft Berlin Tempelhof (ICAT) weit über 30.000 Unterschriften sammeln, um ein Volksbegehren für Tempelhof zu erwirken – nur 20.000 wären notwendig gewesen.
