 | | As you listen to the album your first thought could be, “Floor ten, please.” Your second thought might be, “No, seriously, floor six is fine, just open the doors.” His strengths as a younger composer were engaging melodies and thought provoking lyrics. |
 | | But on “Ten New Songs,” the chord progressions are both uninventive and nearly the same on every track. |
