The place is located 1 hour from Mexico City and the closest church to stay is Miraflores, located 30 minutes from Union de Guadalupe, Miraflores has a kind of retreat center where the teams can stay (sleeping bag needed) or the other option is a hotel.
Tepalcingo -2.5 hours from Mexico City to the southeast is a church where the main need is medical, because even though they have a local public clinic in town, there is never a doctor there.
A large number of men from town are in America working, and there is not a regular income in the site.
