Terminal Reality's first game, Terminal Velocity, was a 3-D air combat game Brett pitched to Garland-based publisher 3-D Realms.

By January of 1998, Terminal Reality became an equity partner and founding developer of Gathering of Developers, a Dallas TX based publisher in which Brett sits on the Board of Directors.

Sad really, since most of us dyed in the wool, off-road types also have a PC or game console to keep us occupied when we're not out breaking axles, and causing the "environmentally correct" one sort of conniption fit or another.
The game's realism is usually nonexistent, gameplay is even worse, and the graphics look like they were really hot when the Atari hit the market back in the 80's.

Terminal Reality Inc. (TRI) is in a gray, nondescript, one-story building in the northern suburbs of Dallas, Texas.
From the outside, it could be anything, but inside, the constant undertone of grunge music and the fact that-with the exception of the motherly receptionist-almost all the employees are Levi'd, flannel-shirted and goateed young guys suggests that it has something to do with the computer industry.
TRI wanted users to be able to look around the cockpit, just as a pilot in a real aircraft sees everything that's visible working from any conceivable view.
