A Cyberware rapid 3D color digitizer was used to scan the heads of two Terminator II actors, Linda Hamilton and Robert Patrick, as well as a bust of Arnold Swarzenegger and a robot used in the film.
In one Terminator II sequence, the liquid-metal creature played by Robert Patrick pours himself into a helicopter and tells the pilot to get out.
Cyberware models were used to create many other Terminator II special effects, including a pair of boots that march on their own, a punch thrown at the liquid-metal creature's side that goes right through, and a fiery scene involving Linda Hamilton's face.

We use and prefer the Terminator Zapper to the Hulda Clark Zappers, due to the convenient ability to wear the Terminator Zapper, versus having to hand hold two electrodes for seven minutes 3x/day.
When sleeping, the Terminator Zapper can be worm on the palm of the hand or pad of the foot where it won't burn through the skin.
Don Croft quit calling his Zapper the Terminator II many years ago, but I believe it is toolsforhealing.com that still advertises Don Croft's Zapper as the "Terminator II".

The cleaned-up print of this DVD is a revelation, as is the digitally remastered Dolby 5.1 EX soundtrack: from the opening MGM lion's roar to the crunch of Arnold Schwarzenegger's boots and the pounding of Brad Fiedel's techno-industrial score, both picture and sound are of a quality that belie the movie's age.
Take a Look at this film, if the terminator had killed everybody in the film, and returned to his era, this film would be among the most courageous, intelligent, creative ever.
But again the poor director did the choice of impossible, a truly skinny and dumb girl killing that massive future man, and is always the same thing, the same dumb endings, I think that the demagogy of the directors conducted them to this.

In case you don’t recognize it (and, unless you are a regular Slashdot reader, why would you?), the highly technical looking computer readouts in his vision display are actually source code printouts for an Apple II+ program that ran in a computer magazine (Nibble) in the early 1980s.
I remember noticing the out-of-place computer code when I watched the movie for a second time back in 1984, but I always thought it was source code from the Atari Operating System (Atari used the same microprocessor as the Apple II series).

 Word About Biehn - Terminator
Terminator can truly be termed a "classic" film.
Its special effects may not have been as expensive (or extensive) as its more touted sequel, Terminator II, but they worked, and they didn't overwhelm the story.
Michael as Kyle Reese is wonderful in Terminator, and it's unfortunate that his performance has been so little recognized or appreciated.
