The serene and peaceful Termonfeckin is situated on the Eastern Shore of the county and has a beautiful beach only a small walk from the town centre.

The extant castle in Termonfeckin is a 15th or 16th century tower house of 3 storeys, with good trefoil headed windows.
Termonfeckin is also home to An Grianan, a stately home built in the 18th century which was the first residential adult learning college in Ireland.

The group's cause is to promote the preservation of Termonfeckin's rural nature and character.
