Terra Vac began the remedial investigation in May 1989 by installing a total of 72 wells (a combination of groundwater monitoring and vacuum extraction wells) within and around the refinery to determine the source of the hydrocarbons and to delineate the extent of the subsurface hydrocarbon plume.
Terra Vac is operating under contract from a major petroleum distribution company to design, install and operate a vacuum extraction system to remediate soils and groundwater impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons, principally diesel and gasoline.
Terra Vac was selected in early 1992 as the Emergency Response Contractor to manage the remediation of soils and groundwater contaminated with gasoline from a ruptured pipeline.

With that in mind, “Terra Prime” is a definite improvement over the previous episode, but it doesn’t come close to being a series finale.
“Terra Prime” is one of the few two part episodes in which the second surpasses the first.
Watching the setup created by “Demons” was painful, but “Terra Prime” is an effort that involves all members of the somewhat aloof “Enterprise” cast and the episode had a surprisingly emotional conclusion.

In the science fiction television series Star Trek: Enterprise, set in the Star Trek universe, Terra Prime is a radical, xenophobic, human isolationist movement led by John Frederick Paxton (played by Peter Weller), dedicated to repelling all non-human species from Earth and Earth's solar system, and inhibiting the formation of a Federation.
Terra Prime was formed long before the first Warp 5 ship, Enterprise NX-01, left Space Dock.
Paxton was in charge of the mining operation of the Orpheus Mining Colony located on the moon, which relocated to Mars, taking over a verteron array just before the signing of a charter to create a coalition that eventually led to the formation of the United Federation of Planets.

I think all of this played into my reaction to “Demons” and “Terra Prime” just being “there,” and fueled my regrets for the threads left dangling by the cancellation of this series, such as what the hell that Romulan was doing on Vulcan at the end of “The Forge” story arc.
I would have given anything for even one scene that began to approach the emotional impact of the final scene of “Terra Prime.” Any one scene that communicated the end of the bond that had supposedly bound these characters together for a decade.
Preventing a warp core breach, saving T'Pol from certain death, taking out a Terra Prime terrorist at the conference, all of these would have been a more satisfying vehicle through which Tucker shuffled off his mortal coil, but what BandB gave us was just inane.

The real impact of the episode comes with the revelation that the genetic work conducted by Terra Prime’s scientists included a deliberate flaw, which in turn dooms the child to a rather quick and premature demise.

I saw some paralles between The end of Terra Prime and the beginning of Broken Bow, like when we first see trip and t'pol together they dont shake hands and depart...and the "last" time we see them together they finally hold hands and stay together...it was a beatiful scene.
Terra Prime is a great episode because there were character highlights.
