CD Baby: ALLEN SHADOW: King Kong Serenade
Allen Shadow's band includes the highly talented John Jackson (ex Bob Dylan guitarist who recently played a lot for Lucinda Williams), drummer Paul Griffith (John Prine), and Randy Leago (Janis Ian) on the keyboard.
Allen Shadow is a true rock poet, in the tradition of Nick Cave, Dylan, Tom Waits and Walt Whitman, a rock poet who believes rock music is still in its infancy, and hopes his current work will add to the development of the art.
After years and years of developing his voice, poet turned singer Allen Shadow gives a classic performance that will surely raise some eyebrows in the entertainment sector if his CD "King Kong Serenade" is marketed wisely.

 Back Into The Future
Guitarist-vocalist Mickey Jones, ever-present since 1968, headed a group featuring drummer Terry Williams (a 1970 recruit), bassist-vocalist Will Youatt (1972) and keyboardist-vocalist Phil Ryan (also 1972).
For the record, the cast list for the outside reads as follows: Angie Davis, Will Youatt, Plug's daughter, Howard 'Plug' Davis (tour manager), Ella Ryan, Phil Ryan, Linda Williams, Mickey Jones, Terry Williams, Jenny Jones, Noel Ryan, Pam Ryan and Jeff Hooper (sound engineer).
Musically speaking, it's a Phil Ryan instrumental split into two at Will Youatt's suggestion by a couple of simple vocal lines: 'Someone to see you, someone to see me.' It's the composer's personal favourite from the album 'because among all the madness it's got a sort of tidiness.

 Dianne Reeves Page
Born in Detroit but raised from the age of two in Denver, Dianne was still in high school, singing with the high-school big band, when she was spotted by swing trumpeter Clark Terry at the National Association of Jazz Educators Conference in Chicago.
The resulting 'Dianne Reeves' featured George Duke, Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Tony Williams, Stanley Clarke and her old friend Billy Childs, and rocketed Reeves onto the international festival circuit.
In Los Angeles in the mid-70's, Reeves' vocal range led her quickly into the west coast's studio scene, where she became very much in demand, recording for drummer Lenny White, saxophonist the late Stanley Turrentine and drummer Alphonzo Johnson.

He was replaced by former Dream drummer Terry Williams, and Mickey Gee, who'd briefly appeared in Joe Cocker's Grease Band in 1968, came in as a second guitarist.

Their second album, “ Forms And Feelings ”, included an eleven-minute version of “ Sabre Dance ”, but the 45's flip side, “ Think Of Love ”, which featured some distinctive guitar work from Edmunds, wasn't featured on the album which was hastily put together to cash in on the singles success.

Twang Dynasty, MP3 Album Music Download at eMusic
Man's first studio recording in over 15 years, 1992's Twang Dynasty finds Deke Leonard and an only slightly rejiggered group (drummer Terry Williams is absent) largely picking up where their late-'70s albums left off, bridging the gap between rollicking pub rock and twiddly prog with not-always-successful results.
Most of the album leans rather toward the latter side of the equation; although songs like the opening guitar workout "A Feather on the Scales of Justice" have memorable riffs and catchy tunes to their credit, they could have stood to be trimmed by a minute or two.
Still, Twang Dynasty is a more credible comeback attempt than many of Man's '70s contemporaries made.
