Valley Fever Vaccine Project of the Americas
Although many brief articles on valley fever have been published - in pamphlets, newspapers, magazines, and encyclopedia and although many articles on the subject have appeared in medical journals and other scientific magazines and texts, we are aware of no previous attempt to present a thorough discussion of this disease to the non-medical public.
The drainage of valley fever abscesses in soft tissues and in bones and joints, or the removal of bone infections (osteomyelitis) is also performed fairly commonly in areas where valley fever is prevalent.
Valley fever also can produce cavities in the lung - areas where the lung tissue has been completely destroyed by the valley fever infection - leaving a rounded hole in the lung that may be partly filled with fluid.

 Test Valley Community Landscape Project
The river valleys which extend through the Test Valley fall into two principal categories; the wider flat bottomed valleys of the main river systems and the narrower valleys with steeper sides and which contain either tributaries of the main river system or bournes/winterbournes.
The valleys are predominantly under pasture, with characteristic waterside tree species such as willow and alder running alongside individual watercourses and areas of meadow grassland, reedbeds, marshlands and other wetland habitats.
This pattern of bedworks on the River Test and catchworks on the tributaries is largely repeated throughout the Test Valley Borough.
