	Tetris Attack - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Tetris Attack first existed as a Japanese video game called Panel de Pon (sometimes referred to as Paneru de Pon), which was released for the Nintendo Super Famicom, the Japanese equivalent of the SNES.
		Tetris Attack is virtually identical to Panel de Pon aside from character substitutions and some minor differences in graphics, gameplay, and game music (see Differences from Panel de Pon).
		Tetris Attack was made available in Japan via the Satellaview attachment to the Super Famicom, as Yoshi-no Panepon.

		Since Tetris Attack was released in only 1996, I'm sure most video game players have noticed that Pokémon Puzzle League ripped off Tetris Attack.
		(Note: Japan's version of Tetris Attack is called "Yoshi's Panepon," released over the Bandai Satellaview-X. I don't know the exact release date of Yoshi's Panepon, but it doesn't seem likely that they would make PDP, and then make a Yoshi version of it right away for release in Japan.
		The identical copyright dates and the same English/Japanese language selection option in the Options mode leads me to believe that Tetris Attack and Yoshi's Panepon were made at the same time.
