	Tetris - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Tetris is a puzzle game invented by Alexey Pajitnov (last name sometimes spelled Pazhitnov) in 1985, while he was working for the Academy of Sciences in Moscow, Russia.
		Critics of Tetris Worlds said it was broken due to how a piece is able to hover over the bottom for as long as a player needs (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3736273641404566879andq=tetris); although, players of the game generally do not mind this feature because exploiting it will only hinder play, which is unfavorable to making a record time.
		NES Tetris will level up in until the speed of level 29 (due to frame restrictions, pieces are not capable of dropping faster than this), but tool-assisted emulation will show that the level indicator will increase infinitely-- eventually glitching the meter so that it must use hex values.

		Tetris' success, both in arcades and on the NES, gave rise to the Game Boy — I remain convinced that the old pea-soup-green-screen Game Boy would not have succeeded as spectacularly as it did, had Nintendo not included Tetris as a pack-in — and to an entire genre of like-minded puzzle games.
		Tetris Worlds is fun for a while, but it manages to add unnecessary complications and lousy music to a classic game, and as such, should only be bought if you're looking to fill that Tetris-shaped gap in your collection.

		This didn't bother me, but it did bother my sister, who is one of the biggest Tetris fans on earth (she said that the bouncing made her feel dizzy, something that never happened to her while playing the original Tetris).

		Old-school Tetris, like you'll find in Tetris Worlds, just doesn't jive on the PS2 for me. I'd rather be playing this in my spare time, or on a road trip.
		But as is, Tetris Worlds doesn't quite belong as a full-price PS2 game.
