To be considered for a Merit Scholarship, students must have been admitted to Texas Tech, have a qualifying SAT/ACT score reported to the university, and proof of top 10% ranking (or IB diploma) on their high school transcript before April 15 of their senior year.
Non-Texas resident students who are awarded at least a total of $1,000 in Texas Tech academic scholarships will also receive a waiver of the non-resident tuition fee.
