Addicts traveling to Thamkrabok are required to comply with the rules of the Monastery.
You should not go to Thamkrabok until you are certain that you truly wish to be free from your addiction(s) and you are 100 per cent committed to being drug/alcohol free.

We are currently residing in the Thamkrabok Refugee Camp, Saraburi, Thailand.
At the end of 2003, the Thai government and the U.S. government announced a policy to process applications of Hmong refugees in the Wat Thamkrabok Camp for resettlement in the United States.
We are Hmong political refugees who did not register in 2003 and those who went outside Wat Thamkrabok to search for work and food before the Thai authorities controlled the Wat Thamkrabok Camp in 2003.

Thamkrabok Monastery is located about 130 km North from Bangkok, capital of Thailand, between Saraburi and Phraputthabat, on the way to Lopburi.
On the grounds of the monastery there is also a colony of laymen and a village of about 14.000 Hmong, members of an ethnic minority, admitted in 20 Thai provinces.
