	Thanos
		History: Thanos was one of the last sons of Alars, progenitor of the second colony of Eternals of Titan, and Sui-San, the last survivor of the original settlement of Eternals on Titan.
		Thanos attempted to trick the Hulk into becoming a vessel for Thanos' mind, and was overheard at another Ley-line nexus by the hero Nathan Grey, also known as the X-Man.
		Thanos revealed that Marlo had been the physical refuge of the embodiment of Death and as such, was the target of a death god known as the Walker.

		Darksied is the original, Thanos was admittedly inspired by Darksied.
		An acknowledgement (of sorts) to this was made in the Marvel vs DC crossover when Darksied makes a comment to Thanos when he says "....you pale imitation of me...." there was a little truth to that.
		I'm going to go with Thanos on this, only because he's a fighter, while Darkseid, who has always struck as someone who would rather have someone do his dirty work, would be rusty in physical combat.

	Thanos
		Thanos derives his immortality due to being rejected by the cosmic entity known as Death.
		A member of the Eternals of Titan, Thanos was born of Alars (Mentor), founder of the second colony of Eternals of Titan, and Sui-San, the last survivor of the original Eternal settlement.

		Thanos has been hit by the likes of THOR, HULK, SILVER SURFER........and even GALACTUS Himself (albeit Hit by Energy from Galactus) which you MUST figure packs a much bigger whallop then a fist from a powered-down Destroyer.
		Actually the editor said they killed off Thanos so other villains could have their time to shine in future Cosmic stories.
		I can see the writer removing Thanos from the playing field to possibly let some other character have the spotlight.

	Thanos the Mad Titan - The best Thanos resource on the Web
		For those of you who do not know of Thanos, you may have a few questions, like "Who is this guy?", and, "Where has he appeared?".
		Thanos seems to be doing a pretty good Wolverine impression of late, as ANNIHILATION isn't the only title to see the Mad Titan make an appearance.
