The next couple of songs are a bit 'ish' as well, not helped by the fact that the lead singer of The Out Crowd sounds like Bobby Gillespie (yuk) and Moroccan are far too Weller (yes, him again) in their late 1960s getting-it-together-in-the-country-complete-with-bongos styling.
The opening song, 'Girl In the Crowd', is a good, powerful bubblegum pop number, but the next few songs are rather ordinary.
The lead vocals and overall "feel" of the songs on this EP remind me of Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks, although the band are miles away from Texas Swing.

What was great about this show is that since we didn’t have the two opening bands, Rob had a few more minutes to give us, so we got to hear a few more songs from White Zombie than we were supposed to, and it was definitely to the liking of the crowd.
I wish I could tell you what song they opened with but to be honest I don’t remember… my jaw hit the floor when I saw the stage and my mind was just chaos from there.
I respect their contributions to punk rock in general as well as their longevity, but the only song I've ever liked from them was "Smash It Up" and The Clash and The Pistols were better anyway.....
