This theory, put forth by well-known Ambominable Snowmanologist Art Farglebottom, holds that Abominable Snowmen are the results of a magico-scientific experiment conducted by Chinese mystics in the Tang dynasty.
Abominable Snowman was left with only one obvious option: he became one with the universe and began to create chi-clones of himself.
So many Snowmen were killed, that they had no option but to retreat into the mountains of Tibet, where they founded the hidden mountain kingdom of Shangri-La. They remain there to this day, growing more decadent and evil with every passing year.

The Abominable Snowmen kicks off what has loosely been called by fans "The Yeti Trilogy" in that it is the first in a series of attempts by the Great Intelligence to invade Earth.

That has ended a great many conversations, and not a few friendships, but with all the evidence which has become availalble over the years, I feel it's almost in a league with asking me if I really believe that the earth is round.
These snowmen are nothing but stories, however important and reliable the people who have told these stories may be.
