The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of twelve Sherlock Holmes stories by Arthur Conan Doyle, illustrated by Sidney Paget, that were originally published in the Strand Magazine from July 1891 to June 1892.
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is also the title of the first sequence of a long-running television series about Arthur Conan Doyle's detective character, produced by Granada Television in England between 1984 and 1994.
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is also the name of a Sherlock Holmes movie, the second to feature Basil Rathbone as Holmes and Nigel Bruce as Doctor Watson.

You’d think then that Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Silver Earring, despite its point and click structure would be a game for me, unfortunately asking question after question isn’t all its cracked up to be as the hands on copy of the game pointed out to me.
The game allows you to control either Sherlock himself or Watson and naturally the bulk of your investigation involves moving from room to room within the building interviewing anyone who happens to be standing around and picking up little pieces of evidence and clues yourself.
From what we’ve seen of Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Silver Earring the majority of the game is pretty good and well thought out although the questioning and interviews can get a little tedious at times which is something that will hopefully be improved in the finished product.
