WWII brought us the world's first unbreakable cyphers, encrypting machines and state of the art computers designed spacifically to crack enemy codes.
Though large amounts of resources were spent by Germans and US allies during WWII on computational cryptography the most reliable and convenient secret code used was developed over hundreds of years, before the US was even independent from Britian.
The allied forces against Germany had a better team of cryptoanylists which provided them with a great advantage durring the war.

Soon, WWII was a battle of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics against the National Socialist German Workers' Party, socialists against socialists.
WWII became a conflict in which the socialists who slaughtered the most people defeated the socialist monsters who came in 3rd place for slaughtering people.

 28 October 1940 - By P. Yiannos
By rendering the first victory to the allies in WWII, Greece proved that the Axis Powers of Hitler and Mussolini were not invincible.
The essence of Greece's contribution to the allied victory is: Due to Mussolini's humiliating defeat by the Greeks in Albania, Hitler was compelled to capture the Balkans, mainly Yugoslavia and Greece, thusly, delaying his Barbarossa plan to invade and capture the Soviet Union before the winter of 1941.
As a point of illustrating Greece's determination and dedication to their country and the allies, the final Greek communiqué to the withdrawing allies before the German invasion, is really admirable and reads as follows: "We are determined to face the Axis by whatever means and sacrifices may be necessary.

Now less than a decade later, nearly four percent of the country is safeguarded, much of it due to the efforts of WCS and the dedicated staff of the Myanmar Forest Department, Dr. Rabinowitz said.

The Allies were able to convert their economies to a war footing with few institutional fetters, while the Axis powers imposed layers of bureaucracy that often competed internally.
How the Allies were able to do this, particularly in the face of the human and economic catastrophe that had befallen the Soviet Union as the result of Operation Barbarossa, brings into focus the level of organizational know-how, and human sacrifice, needed to turn the war around.
One was attaching an extra fuel tank to Allied bombers so they could extend their range into a "dead spot" in the ocean where previously the U-Boats had been safe from attack.
