	Andalite - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		In The Ellimist Chronicles, one of the last books in the Animorphs series, the link between the Andalite species and the mysterious figure of the Ellimist was clarified.
		Long existing as a godlike Trickster figure in Andalite mythology, the Ellimist played a direct role in the beginnings of the Andalites as a sentient species; having discovered them in a primitive state, approximately sixty five million years before the Yeerk war, he chose to live among them in mortal form for some time.
		The original Andalites are shown to be incapable of complex communication, lacking mouths or vocal apparatus, and the Ellimist communicates to them using the psychic apparatus he uses for internal communication aboard his ship; the Andalites' exposure to this form of telepathy seems to have a strong effect on their minds.

		Due to their strange life cycle, Skrit Na are considered poor hosts for a Yeerk, so the race was never conquered; rather, the Yeerks seem to have developed a kind of trading partnership with the Skrit Na, not caring much that the Skrit Na usually steal or abduct their loot.
		This is seen in The Andalite Chronicles, where the Skrit Na acquired the Time Matrix and were willing to trade it to the Yeerks without knowing what it is.
		The Skrit Na are mentioned briefly by the character Father in The Ellimist Chronicles, where Father claims to have assimilated some into his being, meaning they were already space-faring by this point in the Animorphs timeline.

		I currently own books 1-35, the Andalite Chronicles (my fav, The Hork-Bajir Chronicles (another good one), and Visser (a book concerning the history of Visser 3).
		Yeah, I was the kid so heavily into the series that I'd anticipate the release of the next one (usually they came out every month or two) by checking the back of the book even before I read the actual book.

	The Hork-Bajir Chronicles (Animorphs Special Edition (Hardcover)) Book at Shop Ireland
		The reason I didn't enjoy this book was not that it wasn't o.k., but it was because it can't compare to other animorphs books.
		The Hork Bajir Chronicles told us nothing about the Animorphs but gave us a look at the history of another race which could have been interesting but didn't pull it off.
		One reason that might be a factor was that this book really wasn't long enough to pull off the ideas that it wanted to create and maybe if it was, I think it would have helped the book tremendously.

		Elfangor is an Aristh in the Andalite military, and goes out on first mission and enter a Skrit-Na ship where they find Tobias' mother (not a mother yet, of course), and a young boy named Chapman (guess wich Chapman).
		They use the time matrix to go to earth, where Elfangor morphs a human and gets stuck as one on purpose so he could be with Loren.
		Elfangor gets upset and mad, but suddenly he's in the cockpit of an Andalite fighter, in the middle of a battle.
