		Queer as Folk was a huge hit here in the UK earlier this year, the box-set of videos and the soundtrack album sold millions.
		I have to say, of the two, for me Queer as Folk was far better then Sex and the City, but that could be to do with the setting, I'm more familiar with the UK than the US.
		It's kinda funny reading stuff like "I wish I had Showtime so I could cancel it." or "I dumped the Disney Channel a few years ago, over their "Gay and Lesbian" week at their park", maybe, it's just sad.

		Wed, Feb 23 2005 2:20 PM You have two problems in the UK: (1) the way set-top-boxes work here is you have a seperate remote for them to change the channel and only the channel on the box goes to your TV or VCR.
		If I can watch it for free, record it for free and providing their are not restriction then why not have a community sharing the programmes.
		With DRM you should be safe, anyway I do not much fancy the high end expensive programmes such as CSI or Friends, these are likely to have DRM on them.

		I'm from france, so I don't know that channel well, I just know it's famous and that they broadcast great tv shows as I could see while I was in England.
		I'm a huge fan of Destiny's Child, and it's written in several articles that their current world tour "destiny fulfilled and lovin' it tour" will be broadcasted on Sky Box Office soon (Pay Per View, about 10£ if what I read is right.....correct me if I'm wrong).
		I just wanna know if you guys who live in the UK have more news about it, or if you know the email adress of somebody working at Sky so I could ask this person more details.

	Personal Video Recorders
		Sky Plus offers a better experience for Sky customers - you can set programmes to record up to a week in advance, watch one satellite channel while recording another satellite channel, record programmes without videotape, record two different channels at the same time, and pause / rewind live TV (when the phone rings).
		Sky+ requires installation by a Sky engineer and needs a twin-LNB and two cable feeds from the Sky dish to the Digibox, as the box needs two separate feeds to allow simultaneous viewing and recording of different channels.
		The Sky+ box must also be connected to a UK phone line.
