IMAGO was written and arranged by The Butterfly Effect and recorded by US producer Joe Barresi, at Sound City Studios in LA. The album portrays a very melodic heavy rock sound which differentiates the band from other rock bands in the current climate.

"Butterfly Effect" is a very eclectic album, having tracks consumed by rage and laced with fl metal growls next to more laid back and melancholy tracks containing mostly clean vocals, so even those who aren't so enamored with extreme metal will probably find something here they like.
The growling vocals on Butterfly Effect are done very tastefully, as they never actually overshadow or suppress the other elements of the music.
Butterfly Fx song is the defination of its tittle, i.e., Chaos and stands true to the name.

Butterfly Release Effect — Beautiful butterfly effect with an individual or mass release.
I had hear nothing of the band previously, I can't imagine that the cover art appealed to me and I knew nothing of the chaos theory so I didn't know what The Butterfly Effect was exactly.
Well it was a great compilation of tracks by bands like 36 crazyfists, in flames, H.I.M etc. Anyway so I'm on the bus enjoying the music when all of a sudden this song comes on that totally stands out from every other track.
