		The Cestus Deceptions was by far the worst Star Wars novel that I have read.
		Obi-wan's job was to go to Ord Cestus, an ex-prison world now controlled by a government known as the Five Families and the Hive Council, who is building something called a JK Droid, (short for Jedi-Killer) and thought to be selling them to the CIS.
		The whole plot with Obi-wan and his political dealings with Ord Cestus' society was rather dull and uninteresting, even during the chapters that were supposed to be.

	The Cestus Deception
		Obi-Wan, along with Kit Fisto-another Jedi Master on the cover of the book-is about to be sent to the world of Ord Cestus to attempt to engage in diplomacy with the manufacturers of the JK droids to prevent the sale of such droids to the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
		This is the lead in to the story of The Cestus Deception, a novel set six months after the events of Shatterpoint.
		I found The Cestus Deception to be a less intense book than Shatterpoint, but closer to what I'd consider a traditional Star Wars novel, at least for this era.
