"The Chamber" (2002)   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-16)
Short-lived (and very cruel) game show, where contestants competed to answer questions while strapped inside a torture chamber and enduring intense heat and cold.
Rich Schwartz is the host of "THE CHAMBER", a 'game show' where two contestants (a male and a female) battle it out in a 'head-to-head' questionnaire.
The Chamber itself consists of a huge steel chair (think of Arnold Schwarzenegger in "TOTAL RECALL") where the contestant is strapped in, hooked up to heart, pulse and blood pressure monitors to prepare themselves to be exposed to extreme temperatures that will be randomly selected by a computer - either hot or cold.

  Encyclopedia: The Chamber (game show)
A game show is a radio or television program, involving members of the public or celebrities, sometimes as part of a team, playing a game, perhaps involving answering quiz questions, for points or prizes.
Just before the player is pulled back into the chamber, he or she must sign an affidavit waiving all claims of damage against the show and network should anything go awry.
The show's medical staff could stop the game if they felt that the player would not be able to continue, or if he or she was rendered unconscious from the stress.
