	The debut of the SS muppet characters - Muppet Central Forum
		It was on the ORIGINAL Sesame Street pilot episode that was shown in July of 1969 (not the famous November 1969 pilot shown on Noggin), and only shown to 100 families who were paid by CTW to watch a week's worth of test shows on a UHF station in Pennsylvania.
		Snuffleuphagus first appeared in the 1971 premiere, Sam the Robot first appeared in the 1972 premiere, Barkley the Dog on episode #1186, and of course, the Anything Muppets: the purple little girl, the pointy green head boy, the purple woman, the tall orange man and a Fat Blue-like man on the premiere episode.

		They were called these names during their debut in season 32 in the Monster Clubhouse segmetns, the names changed for some odd reason.
		Hopefully, Drtooth will come in and will be able to supply me with descripts of these three characters and the Giant Space Chicken from the Trash Gordon segment after they repeat the episode in his area today, just before airing the new episode.
		The only instance of a new character I can think of in Episode 4064 is the guest that shows up during the talk segment of Elmo's World: Dances.
