  True Religion
The mind remains in the religion of the mind, the intellect remains within its own religion, the inner vision remains in it’s own religion, the ego remains in the religion of the ego, the ears remain in the religion of the ears.
When the mind is involved in its religion, the mind may have good thoughts or bad thoughts but regardless, it is in its own religion.
The function of the mind is separate, the function of the inner vision is separate, the function of the intellect is separate and the function of the ego is also separate.

Ego Speak   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-26)
From dark and devious symbols, the human ego fabricates an unintelligible vernacular for the performance of its bi-lingual masquerade — its blatant pretense at communication.
Speaking simultaneously in contradictory languages which mean both everything and nothing, it is forever oblivious to its own message.
As unintelligibility ensues, the ego praises its own eloquence and applauds itself as "A Great Communicator".

 BodhiPath Meditaiton
This means that the mind is capable of experiencing its true nature, unobstructed, free from grasping and fixation on the endless stream of mental content – our thoughts, perceptions and concepts.
When, however, the mind knows its own essence and can recognize its true nature, then this is the experience of non-dualistic, primordial awareness.
Driven by its instinct to survive, an insect can easily commit a negative act; whereas, even though all beings have buddha-nature, in the insect realm accomplishment of virtuous actions is of extremely difficult.

the Canadian Theosophical Association - established in 1924 - and connected with the Theosophical Society in Adyar
She showed me that Theosophy is the most serious movement of the age, and that it requires of its adherents entire devotion to the Heart-Doctrine; and her own life was the noblest examplar of her teachings.
And Theosophy will survive all its counterfeits that are trying to live on it and exploit its benefits; for the latter are very mortal, while the truth is immortal.
Its essential principles are those common to every philosophy, and almost the first rule for its successful study is that the mind of the student be held open to receive knowledge and truth, no matter what the source.

Actually, it's like nine and a half, (or nearly ten if your baby is late like mine!) and that's a very long time to be in a worked-up state about what you can and cannot ingest.
It's easy to get overwhelmed by all the recommendations, and to live in fear of every bite of food you put into your mouth.
Regarding the former, it would be nice to see chefs move on to open their own places that build on what they've learned in previous kitchens, not copy the concept outright.

And individuality is that which society is afraid of: Personality is created by the society according to its own requirements, but individuality is wild, natural.
Ego is the basic problem, the most basic.
The art of living is the art of growing up, finding its own maturity: ‘Growing up means moving every moment deeper into the principle of life; it means going farther away from death - not towards death.

All Thats Imagined - Weblog and Random Brain Dumps by Daniel Christopher
This will be a place where I try to lay as much of myself and my life out on the table as possible.
[God] wants him, in the end, to be so free from any bias in his own favor that he can rejoice in his own talets as frankly and gratefully as in his neighbour's talents -- or in a sunrise, an elephant, or a waterfall.
He wants each man, in the long run, to be able to recognise all creatures (even himself) as glorious and excellent things.

Recently Entropia announced that they're going to update their VR engine by the middle of next year to take advantage of new real life looking worlds.
Hot on the heals of both of these announcements comes the news that MetaPlace are taking signups for the alpha release of their new virtual world software that will allow any website owner to design and then host their own virtual world directly off their website.
I predict that in the next 2-3 years it will be reasonably common for any Internet user to browse the virtual world looking for their perfect holiday destination.

The Ego And Its Own: The Case Of The Individual Against Authority (Paperback)
Claimed repeatedly to be the most radical book ever written, The Ego And Its Own throws down a challenge to thousands of years of religious, philosophical and political depreciation of the individual.
Criticising all doctrines and beliefs that demand the interests of the individual be subordinated to those of God, state, humanity, society, or some other fiction, Stirner declared war on all creeds that threatened individuality.
