The band will perform fully live, and tickets are going to be made available via the official Manics website www.manics.co.uk.
MANIC STREET PREACHERS have confirmed the tracklisting for their new album 'KNOW YOUR ENEMY', a record bassist NICKY WIRE has proclaimed to be "one of the best albums of all time".
As previously reported on NME.COM, the band recorded much of the album with little rehearsal.

 Anthrax
Classed by the band as an EP, Attack Of The Killer B's was essentially a collection of b-sides for the curious fan, but became one of Anthrax's most popular albums, with the hit collaboration with Public Enemy, "Bring The Noise", leading to the two bands touring together in a co- headlining package.
Among The Living, co-produced by the band with Eddie Kramer, established Anthrax as a major force in the speed metal scene, producing UK hits in "I Am The Law" and "Indians", and their riotously entertaining live shows made them many friends among press and public alike.
However, Spitz was ejected from the band just before recording, and his guitar parts played instead by his former guitar technician, Paul Cook, Pantera's Dimebag Darrell, and the band's drummer, Charlie Benante.

 Review - X2: X-Men United
Apart from having a slightly silly connotation here in the UK, where it sounds like a naff football team, that's the story: events force Professor Xavier's 'good' mutants to band together with Magneto's small band of 'evil' mutants to face a common enemy.
I'd like her story to be part of the plot another time; so far her character's ability has made her essential, while leaving her peripheral to the drama.
Many of the younger actors are impressively accomplished, which is just as well considering that with a large cast each character gets limited screen time to establish themselves and involve in the drama.

 NICKY WIRE ENJOYS SPEAKING
An undisclosed number of Napster users had their accounts blocked last week after the band's label, Sony Music UK, objected to the tracks, as-yet-unreleased material from the band's forthcoming record 'Know Your Enemy', being freely available on the controversial file-sharing network.
Nicky says "I do want to slag off bands, I don't want to be their friends, and I'm comfortable with that".
Wire told NME.COM that the fans are "not being sued", but said Napster is the "antithesis" of everything 'Know Your Enemy' is about.

 Asian Dub Foundation : interview
Asian Dub Foundation's breakthrough single in the UK was 1998's Free Satpal Ram, a song about a Birmingham man who was given life imprisonment for stabbing a racist attacker who subsequently refused medical attention.
With ADF back on the horizon with the release of their fourth album, Enemy Of The Enemy, musicOMH.com took the opportunity to discuss music and politics with the disestablishmentarian DJ.
Given Asian Dub Foundation's reputation as an ultra-earnest, politically charged band, it is somewhat disarming to hear just how affable Pandit G is.

BBC - collective - asian dub foundation 'enemy of the enemy'
So it seems appropriate that the first band to really succeed in making the transition from the Asian underground to the mainstream should be returning with a new album, Enemy Of The Enemy, their fourth UK release.
Asian Dub Foundation began in 1993 at the London-based Community Music, an organisation offering music education in deprived areas.
The dub basslines, jungle loops, sitar-influenced rock guitars and Beastie Boy-esque delivery are all still intact.

THE EVOLUTION CONTROL COMMITTEE may be a wordy name for a band, but it's served this Columbus, Ohio-based band well for 16 years.
And the name is apt as THE ECC evolved the world of music as the grandfathers of the BASTARD POP craze that swarmed the UK in 2002.
Their grandchild: the legendary and heavily bootlegged duet of CHUCK D. (PUBLIC ENEMY) and HERB ALPERT, which got THE ECC's name appearing in The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Spin, and elsewhere.

But if you were a fan of the short-lived UK "Madchester" indie dance scene of the early 1990s, you just might recall that Tom Hingley was the singer for Inspiral Carpets.
Inspiral Carpets were about the fourth best band on that scene, whereas the Lovers are most definitely the best band ever to make a direct statement of intent against Abba.

Americana UK Reviews - January 2004
The slow, acoustic ballad is always the test of any roots band, and “Goodnight Becomes The Enemy” proves that PHS have nothing to justify to anyone- it’s slow, it’s sad and it’s serene, almost reveling in the futility of caring anymore.
Two of the band are from the Smith family- J Chris Smith (songwriting and catchy, affecting vocals) and Marc E Smith (lead guitar and namesake of that lunatic from Salford), and as well as Cary, Tonya Lamm from Hazeldine also makes a showing.
“King’s Hill” features both of them, as well as the grey, despairing lines : “Yeah, Mama says you’re welcome, and you can smoke out on the porch, But the wintertime’s real lonely here”; the rest of the song features drunk preachers, teachers who’ve gone away, and desire for no more patron saints, dead or alive.
