		Cochise and five others of his band were falsely accused of the incident (which had actually been done by the Coyotero band of Apaches), and were ordered by an inexperienced Army officer (Lt. George Bascom) to report to the fort for questioning.
		Cochise and Chiricahua lived in the area that is now the northern Mexican region of Sonora, New Mexico and Arizona, which were traditional Apache territories until the coming of the Europeans.
		There was also a British rock band Cochise of the early 70s.

	Jim Europe's 369th Infantry "Hellfighters" Band
		As the leader of the 369th Infantry Jazz Band, also known as the "Hellfighters," he introduced the sounds of American ragtime to Europeans during the World War I. Although his career was brief, he profoundly influenced the course of popular music, not just in the United States but throughout the world.
		Lieutenant Europe was buried with full military honors at Arlington Cemetery in Washington D.C. Noble Sissle, assisted by Eubie Blake, assumed leadership of the 369th Infantry Jazz Band, which completed its scheduled bookings.
		It was easily the most successful of the eleven recordings the 369th Infantry Jazz Band made for Pathé in March 1919.
