First Evil - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The First Evil is the source and embodiment of all that is evil.
The First Evil had the vicious preacher Caleb command the Harbingers of Death, as they sought and hunted down the Chosen line, young girls with the potential to become slayers.
The First appeared to Willow as Cassie Newton, claiming to be a messenger from her dead lover Tara, but went too far as it asked Willow to commit suicide.

 Fanspeak Proudly Presents.....Evil Dead
Well the first six were pretty good I think they ranged from "the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2" to "Make them Die Slowly".But by 6 AM my friend had passed out and me, having a lower tolerance for caffeine, stuck in Evil Dead 1.
Evil Dead is more then just a movie it is a mind warping experience I have never seen a movie as spine chilling as it and I doubt I ever had.
Evil Dead 2 was good as the best horror/comedy ever made and Armies is pure comedic laugh riot but the original has a atmosphere all it's own.

So the fact that her evilness and curiosity about the other side stems from actual circumstances she's found herself in tells me that evil is not just inbred in her.
Forget defending the innocent; Evil is going to win, so it's best to make a friend of it--to lend a hand to demons and stalkers and murderers, and to be at the drawing board of the apocalypse.
Evil as a concept cannot be destroyed, cannot be hit, cannot be pummelled, cannot be extinguised.

Resident Evil Movie Review by Anthony Leong from MediaCircus.net
When videogame producer Shinji Mikami of Capcom unleashed the first "Resident Evil" videogame on an unsuspecting public back in 1996, not only did he kick-start what would become one of the most popular videogame franchises in recent years, but he also coined the phrase 'survival horror', which would define a new genre of action-oriented gameplay.
Well, the good news is that "Resident Evil" is a decent game-to-film adaptation, as it remains fairly faithful to the mythology that has been built around the franchise, and offers the game's fans exactly what they are looking for: machine guns, zombies, and a dash of martial arts.
Indeed, with its thin characterizations and 'run-and-gun' storytelling, "Resident Evil" is a poor cousin to the standout entries in the zombie genre, the classic "Night of the Living Dead" and its sequel "Dawn of the Dead", which provided at least some sociological subtext and moral complexities to the mayhem.

 RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE
Resident Evil: Apocalypse is the sloppy sequel to the 2002 sleeper hit Resident Evil which was based on a video game of the same name.
Though the first movie was directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (Alien vs. Predator director and Jovovich’s fiancé), Apocalypse was directed by Alexander Witt, a seasoned director of photography.
Still, the endless action and violence is entertaining in a mind-numbing sort of way and if Resident Evil: Apocalypse should be the third film in a triple video bill for the evening, the chances are that it won’t be too demanding and you will stay awake until the wee hours of the morning.

MovieFreak.com - "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" DVD Review
Alice, the survivor of the first film, awakens to find herself trapped inside the city of the dead, and must team up with a group of survivors in order to find the daughter of one of Umbrella’s scientists and escape the city before it is nuked.
There is a little more tension in the film, the creatures are kept to a minimum (just a few zombies, dogs, and the Nemesis, which looks a lot like a blend of Frankenstein and the Crow), and the silliness of the action sequences is reduced.
And if one forgets about the first third of the film, one can say that the characters are actually consistent.

First Slayer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The First Slayer (credited as Primitive), also known as The Primeval One (in an invocation spell) was the first in the line of Slayers in the cult tv series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and was portrayed by Sharon Ferguson.
Giles reveals The First Slayer never had a watcher, and attributes her appearance to the enjoining "spell [they] cast with Buffy" in "Primeval", claiming that invoking the essence of the Slayer's power was an affront to the source of that power.
In the non-canon Queen of the Slayers, the First Slayer is named as Senaya, which sounds similar to the name Sineya, mentioned in the enjoining spell performed by Willow, Giles and Xander in "Primeval".

Upon their arrival Ash discovers a tape recorder in the cabin and when he hits the play button, ancient passages are spoken that releases an evil that lurks in the woods surrounding the cabin.
Her and another man, along with a couple of red necks who are helping them find their way, end up at the cabin just as Ash finished up a confrontation with his own possessed hand.
Turns out that in order to send the evil back to where it came from, the missing pages of the Book of the Dead must be recited.

Prior to becoming a servant of the First Evil, Caleb was a killer responsible for the deaths of at least two girls, whom he lured sometimes with his sermons and his priest's collar.
Caleb provided Buffy and her allies with a villain who was both a physical threat (in contrast to the non-corporeal First Evil) and a recognizable individual (as opposed to the nameless Bringers and Turok-Han, who were formidable but also more or less interchangeable).
The First lectures Buffy on the futility of her campaign against it, and it's this meeting that encourages Buffy to come up with her plan to activate the remaining potentials to full slayer status using the essence of the scythe taken from the vineyard two episodes previously.

As most of you know, the first Resident Evil was open-ended, as it should be since it really captured the feel of the original game.
While the first movie was a commendable achievement in the video game-to-movie adaptation world, the second one wasn't much so.
