Fonzie - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli was a character in the American sitcom Happy Days (1974-1984) played by Henry Winkler.
Although he is a high school dropout, he seems to be almost superhuman in his skills, wisdom, sexual attractiveness, and abilities that make him a much admired character in the show's setting of Milwaukee, Wisconsin sometime in the 1950s.
During the course of the show, the Fonz finished his high school diploma via night school and became an auto mechanic instructor.

Sam Malone vs. The Fonz @ WWWF Grudge Match
But once Fonz and Melissa get together, she will start making him talk about his feelings and the inner women inside him and the Fonz will realize after all these years of chasing women that he only did that to hide the fact he himself wants men.
The Fonz, while he does come from the heartland and the '50s, two places fairly inhospitable to those who practice "the love that dares not speak it's name," has always struck me as the tolerable, decent sort of guy who could accept a lesbian, snap his fingers and move on.
Besides, if the Fonz was to attempt "The Snap" to get Melissa to do his bidding, it would be as the irresistable force meeting the immovable object, and both Fonzie and Melissa would be trapped in a time-space warp for all eternity.

But, of all the Fonz's talents, it was his ability to start a song by simply hitting the jukebox with the pound of his fist that made him such a popular and desirable character.
Instead, the Fonz dazzled America with his jukebox magic, and not only kept Happy Days on the air for nine long years, but made traffic on the freeways lighter at 8 p.m.
But the Fonz's talent entailed more than just entertainment, for it was more than just a character quirk that made people laugh.

The Internet Hanna-Barbera Fashion Database (IHBFd.com)   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-22)
Starting off as a minor character on the 50's nostalgia sitcom "Happy Days," the Fonz became the most admired man in his fictional version of Milwaukee, the real version of Milwaukee, and the rest of the world, including any foreign or space versions of Milwaukee.
He is a television icon, a puncher of jukeboxes, a rider of motorcycles, a jumper of sharks, a layer of Tuscaderos, a fan of Weezer, and, above all else, cool.
So Hanna-Barbera decides that the best use of a Happy Days license is to have the Fonz, Richie Cunningham, and Ralph Malph jettisoned to the outer reaches of time with a dog, and a girl from the future in a vague but ultimately kinda helpful attempt to get back to 1957.
