		I don't know how Fragment King was sounding on his early releases but the ten tracks of GREY ALBUM convinced me immediately with that dark grinding guitars and with that treated voice that seems starving for more razorblades.

		What a relief– I came at Grey King after listening to the first four chapters of ‘The Folk Keeper,’ a genuine travesty of style.
		Bran is the one that suffers the most from the actions taken by Will and others– and he is one of the primary movers in the book.
		But aside from those details, the Grey King was a real pleasure to re-read.

		This book felt less sinister than some of the others in this series, perhaps because it’s more about preparation than open conflict between the Dark and Light, perhaps because there is more of High Magic in it, perhaps because the Grey King and his minions, while frightening, don’t take on human forms.
