EXPOSED: The Guardian newspaper's lies and anti-democratic power
And the facts laid out within these pages demonstrate that The Guardian newspaper and its lawyers conspired in a conscienceless cover-up in league with the volatile owner of Harrods store, and father of Dodi, Mohamed Al Fayed.
The Guardian had enacted its conspiracy to escape redress, when those whom the paper had accused as part of its political war against the Conservative Party sued the paper for libel to clear their names.
When they uncovered evidence of The Guardian's conspiracy and requested interviews, the liberal Guardian remained silent, then threatened them, and then used its influence within the British media to destroy their journalistic careers with smears.

The Guardian - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Until 1959 it was called The Manchester Guardian, reflecting its provincial origins; the paper is still occasionally referred to by this name, especially in North America (to distinguish it from other newspapers with similar names), although it has been based in London since 1964 (with printing facilities in both Manchester and London).
The Guardian's ownership by the Scott Trust is likely a factor in it being the only British national daily to conduct (since 2003) an annual social, ethical and environmental audit in which it examines, under the scrutiny of an independent external auditor, its own behaviour as a company.
In 1983 the paper was at the centre of a controversy surrounding documents regarding the stationing of cruise missiles in Britain that were leaked to the Guardian by civil servant Sarah Tisdall.

OJR article: The Guardian of the Web
The Guardian newspaper in London is the second smallest national daily broadsheet with a circulation of 369,482.
The Guardian was founded in 1821 as the Manchester Guardian.
The Guardian's independence was cemented in 1936 when ownership of the paper was transferred to the Scott Trust, a charity that reinvests all profits and leaves all responsibility for the running of the newspaper to the editor -- currently Alan Rusbridger, who has been at the helm since 1995.

Stop the Guardian promoting 'book-burning' phantoms, inciting communities
The guardian newspaper and its over-rated ‘guardian unlimited’ web site have been suppressing the real protests in defence of the brick lane and Whitechapel London e1 area over the pats three years.
Perhaps there is a guardian agenda when it comes to matters to do with a genuinely democratic multi-ethnic, multi-religious society that includes significant numbers of Muslims in its population.
Perhaps the agenda that the GUARDIAN follows when allegedly reporting a community of that description goes like this — if the campaign is intellectually high calibre and is conducted in a way that is lawful, dignified, coherent and democratic then the guardian preference is to suppress it.

The newspaper and its archive are a major source for studies of the political, military, economic, social and technological developments of the 20th century.
The archive consists of three elements: printed copies of newspapers and related publications; the records of the newspaper as a business; and editorial correspondence and despatches from reporters.
The large collection of despatches submitted by the Guardian's foreign and war correspondents is perhaps the richest source for the historian.

 EURSOC: Guardian Fires Islamist Trainee
Initially the Guardian responded to criticism with a terse statement noting that the organisation "is legal in Britain." Aslam did not make his membership of the organisation clear in his job application, but was reportedly open about it once hired.
Begum's brother and guardian was reportedly linked to Hizb ut-Tahrir and it has been claimed that the extremist organisation was behind the case.
As his organisation is legal in the UK, and the Guardian admits that many on its senior editorial team were aware of his membership of the sect, he could well build a case for unfair dismissal.

We are astonished that the Guardian chose to go ahead with the publication without considering the implications of the work and the real motive of the writer.
One would have expected the gatekeepers at the Guardian to weigh the article against facts with a view to ensuring that a personal or communal hatred does not take precedent over the newspaper’s professional standard.
It is equally surprising that the Guardian not only allowed the publication of this article filled with distorted facts and inaccuracies, but also kept mute over the protestation and reaction of the public, particularly the victims of the hate mongering.

Feminist Blogging lands in UK newspaper "The Guardian" | BlogHer

Perhaps the best part about this article is that it ran in the Technology section of the newspaper, which not only emphasized the technical expertise of the bloggers, but brought feminism to a wider cross-section of readers.
