This poem, however, does not have to begin and end with the words the header words, but they should be near the beginning and end.
And I imagine those unrelated poems would like to be collected and find a home in a book or a chapbook, but their inability to relate with each other keeps them in their own little poetic studio apartments.

As for the spiritual side of Sister Mings' poem, I once again want to draw your attention to prayer, that holy employment by which our sister's mother endeared herself forever to her daughter, and that, too, by which she wants to be remembered by her own offspring.
And may I here also observe in keeping with the Mother's Day emphasis this month, that "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world"--especially as that hand belongs to the Mother who is praying as she rocks!

While the earliest tributes to mothers date back to the annual spring festival the Greeks dedicated to Rhea, the mother of many deities, Simonson’s tribute to the significant women in her life, to wise generations of the past, to the legacy of life, came in the writing of a poem.
That poem, Strands of Thought, has since evolved into a popular collection of words of wisdom and inspiration, Pearls of Wisdom From Three Generations, a book she penned with her mother and grandmother.
In Simonson’s research, she discovered one of the most significant expressions was from South Africa, stating, “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the nation and its destiny.”

Review: With a Friend Like Harry   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-03)
In terms of its antecedents, With a Friend Like Harry owes less of a debt to recent thrillers (like The Hand that Rocks the Cradle and its brood) than to the collected work of Alfred Hitchcock.
Moll pays homage to Hitchcock in ways that are sometimes subtle (characters' names being the same as those of principals in the Master of Suspense's films) and sometimes obvious (aspects of the plot recall those of Strangers on a Train).
On the evidence of one juvenile poem written decades ago, Harry believes that Michel has the potential to be a great writer, and that his talent should be nurtured, regardless of the price.
