His Tuscaloosa County High bands consistently received all superior ratings at marching competitions throughout the state of Alabama, received Superior ratings at the Alabama State Concert Band Festival, and were winners of the Festival of Champions Concert Band Competition in Tampa, Florida.
Preveiously, he served as the Associate Director of Bands and Assistant Professor of Saxophone at Tennessee Tech University, where he was responsible for the direction of the Golden Eagle Marching Band, the University Concert Band, and the Golden Eagle Brass.
Spinazzola is the new Director of Bands at the University of Indianapolis.

Haton, a native of South Carolina, was director of the marching band at Oregon for four years before moving to Tampa in January to serve as director of the USF marching band.

GM used special lined or extended band clamps which are constructed with an extended band which wraps around the inside diameter of the clamp, covering the worm gear slots and preventing the slots from coming into contact with the hose.
These lined or extended band clamps were used to prevent the soft silicone hose from extruding through the slots and becoming cut or damaged under the higher clamping forces required.
It has a stainless band, but the screw is not stainless, and instead is cadmium plated (light gold in color).
