	Album A No, But Plant's Honeydrippers To Play Show
		The death of Atlantic Records co-founder Ahmet Ertegun in December put the kabosh on a new Honeydrippers album Robert Plant planned to record this year.
		Plant tells Billboard.com that he and Ertegun began talking about the project -- a follow-up to the platinum 1984 EP "Volume One," which featured Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Nile Rodgers, among others -- after Plant was part of a tribute to Ertegun last June at the 40th Annual Montreux Jazz Festival.
		However, Plant is resurrecting the original lineup of the Honeydrippers -- which included guitarist Robbie Blunt, who played on Plant's first three solo albums -- for a "one-off" Valentine's Day charity gig in Dudley, England, to raise money to pay for brain cancer treatments for a mutual friend, Jackie Jennings.

		After that one-two punch the door was open for the Liggins unit (now called Joe Liggins and His Honeydrippers) to join the first rank of R and B performers.
		Specialty records #350 is Liggins R and B version of the pop and country hit song "Rag Mop" and it is a good debut for Liggins as the record is a hit seller.
		By this time there is very little interest in the mid forties R and B as the music is dominated by Elvis, the rockabillies, and the doowop vocal groups.

	Robert Plant returns as The Honeydrippers
		KIDDERMINSTER, England, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant is performing in Britain under the name The Honeydrippers to help pay for his neighbor's treatment for her brain tumor.
		The show, scheduled at the town hall in Kidderminster, England, on Dec. 23, is to raise the final $45,000 for Jackie Jennings' treatment.
		The original 1984 Honeydrippers' album also featured Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck, but it is unknown whether either guitar great will join Plant for the benefit.

		Robert Plant is set to play a benefit gig to pay for the medicial expenses of his neighbour.
		According to the Midlands paper the Express and Star, Plant hopes to raise for money for Jackie Jennings, who is having treatment for a brain tumour in Boston.
		It is unclear who will be in The Honeydrippers' line-up, but the band's album from 1984 featured Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck.
