		The "Infinity Gems" made their first appearances in various Marvel comics from the sixties to the eighties, usually along with the characters who owned them - The so-called Elders of the Universe (like The Gardener, the Grandmaster, etc.).
		To clarify the issue about the use of the Infinity Gems/Soul Gems, at the end of the Infinity War the Living Tribunal made the statement that only Eternity could allow the gems to be used in unison, to which Eternity then stated that he would never allow them to be ever used again.

		Gauntlet was relatively tie-in free–it was War and Crusade which got a bit out of hand, and while entertaining, were no match for the magnificence of the Infinity Gauntlet.
		Infinity War is pretty bad, but it was nice of Marvel not just to collect the series but key tie-ins in the back.

		I'd also like to mention that Call of Duty 1 and United Offensive were spectacular, and the multiplayer is still very enjoyable to this day.

		The ideas that I have for my screenplay for the Infinity Gauntlet (which will probably never see the light of day) address these issues, but nothin canon has been established.
		To the contrary, in the Infinity War or Crusade series, Thanos poses the possibility that there are other-dimensional Infinity Gems being employed.
		I thought the Singular bieng that commited suicide to create the MU or Universe was only subject to 6 gems not 6 gems in every universe.
