Kingpin: Life of Crime starts off with a wonderful intro starring one of the toughest fl guys I have ever seen (the big boss), I swear it's Ving Rhames, and one of his top henchmen.
The two of them are having a conversation about the status of their numbers running scheme, which then eludes to some talk and concern about Nicky's whereabouts, one of big boss' other top minions, which then later eludes to you.
But what saves an FPS from that is their level layouts, and through the first couple of missions, I thought Kingpin may hitch itself under the same gross generalization.

Instead, ''Kingpin,'' starring Yancey Arias as Miguel Cadena, a Mexican drug lord, husband, and father with the most divided loyalties since whoever the dad was in ''Cheaper by the Dozen,'' is being set up to fail -- by the media and its own network.
Early TV-critic coverage of ''Kingpin'' instructs you to think of this as NBC's answer to HBO's boundary-busting fare; NBC itself is probably making a big mistake in airing two episodes a week of this six-episode series at a time when viewers' attentions are distracted by the glut of sweeps and reality programming.
Mind you, I'm not saying ''Kingpin'' is better than the adventures of Tony and his gang, but that it has different goals and ideas on its mind, and explores them with exciting snap.

Victory calls this version of the Kingpin motorcycle a "soft tourer." It offers a medium-sized windshield — low enough for me (five-foot-ten) to see over — and clear plastic lowers alongside the fork legs for wind protection.
The Kingpin is our favorite Victory because it has escaped the fat-rear-tire styling wave that has hit all Victory models except the Vegas and similar 8-Ball but it also has a reasonably wide front tire, which improves steering and braking.
