The Legend Of Zelda - Who Said History Was Boring?
The Legend Of Zelda series has been one of the most popular consoles games of recent times, with many different additions released since the original “The Legend Of Zelda” in 1987.
In fact Princess Zelda does not appear in a couple of the games, although there are a number of flashback, and verbal mentions of her.
While the Zelda series has at times moved away form the traditional base of the game, the early characteristics of the gameplay are still strong, even in the latest offering.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is the first installment in the well-known The Legend of Zelda series of video games released on the Nintendo GameCube.
Yet others claim that the Zelda series has no definitive art style, and the cel-shading is simply one art style out of many that is likely to be used over the course of the series.
Currently, a new Zelda game, titled The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, is in development for the GameCube and Wii which will feature darker, more realistic graphics, reminiscent of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

Zelda, of course, wouldn’t give Link a kiss if her life depended on it (it might have at one or two occasions actually) and she acts like the typical spoiled-but-independent-until-needing-rescuing princess.
The Legend of Zelda was proudly displayed as one half of the “Nintendo Cereal System” as a marketing push to get kids onto a sugar high earlier in the morning so they could start playing Nintendo at the wee hours of dawn.

The rest of the characters in the game are basically story characters that Marona interact with when they hire her for a job, third supporting characters if you will.
For one, Marona is very young as a character and we do know that she is an orphan since the death of her parents and have been living and working as a Chroma since that time with the help of Ash.
In terms of the third supporting cast of characters, there could've been 2 or 3 characters that might be develop a little bit better to the point where they could've been secondary characters but none of these characters interact enough with Ash and Marona to have a strong support role.

The Legend of Zelda is considered by many to be among the greatest gaming franchises of all time, but no other game in recent memory has sparked as much debate among gamers as the Wind Waker.
Classic Zelda sound effects are used in all the right places, as expected, but the main Zelda theme is used sparingly.
The gameplay is still razor-sharp, as it was in previous additions in the Zelda series.

The highly stylized characters are brought to life with surprisingly complex facial animations that not only lend them plenty of personality but also make them appear much more alive than the inexpressive mannequins that populate more traditionally "realistic" titles.
Anime-styled characters truly do bring out a wide new range of emotions that weren’t possible previously in the Zelda series, which better connects the player with a relatively deep storyline.

And, to be honest, fans of the series will get a kick out of the show's rendition of popular characters and enemies into kiddie-cartoon characters.
One annoying aspect of this DVD set is that, regardless of whether or not you choose to watch the Legend of Zelda episodes with or without the Mario Brothers live-action segments, the show still always starts with the Super Mario Brothers Super Show animated beginning.

Zelda Elements | The Legend of Zelda - About
The Legend of Zelda was the first Zelda game and introduced millions of people worldwide to a story which would unravel for years to come.
Sure, the series would go on to include heavy RPG elements (the towns/dungeons system, and the levelling-up system employed by AoL), but this first Zelda game was pure adventure.
This hybridity of story and adventure is a hallmark of the Zelda series that eschews so many gaming conventions in the process of creating new ones.

My first complaint is about all of those long-time Zelda fans who were appalled last year when Nintendo first began showing visuals from the new game.
Zelda creator and overall uber-game guru Shigeru Miyamoto and his team decided to go with the trendy cell-shaded look, and many Zelda fans began squawking.
What I wish is that the next time Miyamoto and his team decide to trot out Link with another Zelda adventure, that he applies some of his awesome creative power into evolving the gameplay of the series as well as just its technical design.

The last big Zelda game, The Ocarina of Time, basically reinvented the series for the polygonal generation, retaining the basic elements that have made the series great while unveiling new standards, such as the Z-trigger-based lock-on targeting system that made combat easier to manage and more exciting.
The newest installment in the series is finally upon us in the form of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, which sticks quite close to the blueprint drawn up by 1998's The Ocarina of Time.
It's your character's birthday, and he's reached the age when it's customary for boys to wear green clothing that honors The Ocarina of Time version of Link, who is now known as the "hero of time" in the legends that speak of his Ocarina exploits.
