		Michael Schenker (born January 10, 1955) is a German hard rock and heavy metal guitarist and former member of UFO and a founding member of the Scorpions and the Michael Schenker Group (M.S.G).
		Schenker debuted with the Scorpions on their debut album at age 16 and was lauded at the time for his mature technique.
		Schenker fell on hard times in the early 2000s after his divorce in which he lost rights to his own music, his Mercedes, and his prized Flying V guitars.

		Schenker's choice for album title seems somewhat ironic inasmuch as his ties to the Scorpions, yet it appears the title bears no comparison and came up completely accidentally -- keeping in mind his current Arizona roots, a undoubtable account.
		Schenker, sporting an unexpectedly primal Rutger Hauer look from that movie where they hunt the homeless guy, with full beard, tattoos and dark glasses, is in fact a predator on the prowl with this new music and group, rebuilt to destroy again, will inspire nostalgia without trespassing too far onto his past.

		Michael Schenker has had a long career as a guitarist, first breaking in with the Scorpions on their debut album way back in 1972, and then making a name for himself with UFO during their glory years in the 1970's.
		The MSG debut is a timeless heavy metal classic that is on the same level as anything Schenker did with UFO.
		Michael Schenker, who is also known for his early work with the Scorpions, is a great guitarist, but I could never bring myself to fork over the bucks for his cds that are more common as pricey imports than as anything domestic.

		I was a Gary Barden fan when the first two MSG albums first came out, remembering how Gary had a Dio like vocal presentation as compared to Phil Mogg, but as time went on, his voice got weak, as anyone who saw a live MSG show in 84 could attest to.
		Michael Schenker, a fluent guitarist who is becoming more notable for his excessive drinking than actual talent, shines brightly on "MSG," the second "solo" album from Michael and company.
		There are several answers to that question, but for a three album run "The Michael Schenker Group," "MSG," and the follow-up/line-up change effort "Assault Attack" Michael had a great creative burst and flexed big guitar muscle that is deserving of your attention.
