What does the Moon card mean to you? - Aeclectic Tarot Forum
A lot of people I know who are extremely drawn to the Moon are also drawn to some form of paganism/witchcraft/magic and tend to be in the early stages of "finding themselves"; recently becoming restless with their lives and distancing themselves from authority figures who previously had an influence on them.
I find the moon card to be the best card in the deck for beggining visulizations with, imagining I am the cray fish, rising out of the water, finding before me two guides[gaurdians].
Yes, I agree Moon can be a positive experience in that you can tap into this sphere of marginalized values, imagery etc resulting in intuitive power, a deeper understanding of the cycles and rhythms of life, a greater respect for the totality of the unconscious.

The moon card is often interpreted as a warning that the querent is not seeing clearly or is being deluded in some way.
The period when the Sun transits through Pisces is an excellent time to meditate on the tarot’s moon, hanged man and wheel of fortune cards, as well as the suit of cups of the minor arcana.
The 56 minor arcana cards are similar to a modern deck of 52 playing cards and consist of four suits containing ten pip or numbered cards plus four court cards in each suit.
