The Mountain School is a semester program, started in 1984 by teachers from Milton Academy, and based in Vershire, Vermont.
The farm provides the majority of food for the school and is tended to by the students, teachers and three farm managers.
Anyone is welcome to drive up to Vershire and visit The Mountain School and, with a phone call ahead of time, enjoy a nice homecooked, homegrown meal.

The graph is in the shape of a mountain range with the top of the second mountain being 800 - the school's ultimate goal that they call the summit.

A semi-truck hauling 2 trailers was unable to stop in time and slammed into the side of her car, the teacher had to be air-lifted to the hospital.
